About the event
The mission of Calm Clarity is to improve collective well-being, develop inclusive leaders, and co-create a world where all human beings and communities thrive together. Our original, intuitive approach to mind-hacking makes it easy for people from diverse ages and backgrounds to use neuroscience and mindfulness to rewire their brain to experience greater wisdom, fulfillment, and joy. Learn more about us and our non-profit work here.
This Calm Clarity Intro Workshop presents the first part of our core leadership and life skills curriculum: "Lead in Alignment and Wholeness Using Neuroscience and Mindfulness."
Alignment and wholeness means living in a state in which you feel centered and grounded, embody your values, access your inner wisdom and compassion, and harness all of your talents, skills, and energies to become the fullest expression of yourself. This enables you to rise to challenges, nurture meaningful relationships, and enrich your communities.
We created this Curriculum to support people from diverse backgrounds to rewire their brain to experience greater alignment and wholeness because these qualities enabled leaders such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Mohandas Gandhi, and Nelson Mandela to inspire and transform society.
You will gain an understanding of the impact that your personal life experiences have on your brain by learning how you move between three patterns of brain activation.
- Brain 1.0: Your threat system is on high-alert. You feel fearful, unsafe, powerless, and isolated. Over time, you lose hope and fall into despair.
- Brain 2.0: Your dopamine system suppresses Brain 1.0 by chasing immediate gratification, money, status, or a false sense of comfort and control.
- Brain 3.0: Your prefrontal cortex is able to calm Brain 1.0 and Brain 2.0 so you can embody your values, access your inner wisdom, realize your full potential, and create positive change.
This experiential training combines neuroscience and mindfulness to strengthen the neural networks of Brain 3.0, which integrate the brain and enable people to be effective, insightful, open, responsive, resilient, curious, creative, innovative, collaborative, inclusive, and inspiring.
The nine lessons of this Curriculum provide insights, exercises, and tools that will help you activate Brain 3.0 and experience more and more alignment and wholeness.
This three-hour workshop guides you through the first 2 lessons of our "Lead in Alignment and Wholeness Using Neuroscience and Mindfulness" Curriculum. Â The two lessons we will cover are:
- Lesson 1. Your Brain Patterns: Get to know your different selves in Brain 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0.
- Lesson 2. Your Triggers: Recognize what activates your Brain 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0; Â build a routine to strengthen Brain 3.0.
